Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hengame collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the app. We do not sell personal data.

1) Data we collect

  • Anonymous account identifiers: When backend features are enabled, the app may create an anonymous Supabase user ID automatically so gameplay, premium status, and telemetry can work across sessions.
  • Apple Sign In data: If you use Sign in with Apple, we may receive your Apple user identifier and, when Apple provides them, your email address and name.
  • Gameplay and telemetry data: Game mode, session timestamps, feature usage, category selections, scores, round events, session settings, ad impressions, and related event metadata.
  • Player-entered content: Names entered for local multiplayer may be sent to our backend as part of session records and analytics.
  • Purchase data: Product IDs, subscription type, transaction IDs, price, currency, device platform, and purchase status needed to manage premium access.
  • Device and app data: Platform, app version, language, timezone, and other basic device/app attributes used to operate the service.
  • Diagnostics: Basic error and operational logs that help us investigate bugs and service issues. We do not currently use a dedicated third-party crash reporting SDK such as Crashlytics or Sentry.
  • Local device data: The app stores language preference, daily play counts, soft-upsell state, and similar settings on your device.

2) How we use data

  • To run the app and its game flows
  • To create and maintain anonymous or Apple-authenticated accounts
  • To enable premium purchases, restore purchases, and maintain premium access records
  • To understand usage, improve gameplay, and measure feature performance
  • To serve and measure ads in the free experience
  • To detect abuse, troubleshoot failures, and protect the service

3) Third-party services and SDKs

The app currently relies on the following third-party providers:

  • Supabase: backend infrastructure, authentication, database storage, and telemetry/event logging
  • Google Mobile Ads: banner and interstitial advertising in the free experience
  • Google User Messaging Platform: included as part of the ad stack and may be used for consent-related messaging
  • Apple: App Store billing, StoreKit purchase handling, and Sign in with Apple

4) Data sharing

We share data only as needed to operate the app with the providers listed above, to comply with law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the app and its users.

5) Advertising and analytics

Free users may see ads. We also collect product analytics and gameplay telemetry. Because ad and analytics providers may process identifiers, usage events, and device/app information, your App Store privacy answers must reflect these flows.

6) Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase premium content, we store purchase-related records such as product ID, transaction ID, subscription type, price, currency, and device platform. Billing and subscription management are handled by Apple through your App Store account.

7) Retention

  • On-device data: remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
  • Backend records: are retained as long as reasonably necessary to operate the app, maintain purchase history, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and improve the service.

8) Your choices and rights

  • You may avoid entering real names for local multiplayer.
  • You may choose not to use Sign in with Apple unless a future version requires it for a feature.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
  • You can request access, correction, or deletion of backend data by contacting bulut.akanay@gmail.com. You can also use the in-app Feedback section, which stores your message in our backend so we can review it.

9) Data we do not intentionally request

The app does not intentionally request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or location for its current core features.

10) Children's privacy

The app is designed for party gameplay and is not intended to encourage children to submit personal information. If you believe personal data relating to a child was submitted to us, contact the publisher using the available support channel.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, its data practices, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected on this page.

12) Contact
